Overview
Bandcamp DJ Organizer helps users organize Bandcamp releases and tracks with folders and colored badges. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Bandcamp.
Data the extension handles
- Track and release metadata visible on Bandcamp pages, including title, artist, album, URL, image URL, duration when available, and source page.
- Folders, badges, colors, preferences, and manual track ordering created by the user.
- Email address and user identifier returned by Supabase Authentication when the user chooses to sign in.
- Authentication tokens required to keep the user signed in.
Visible Bandcamp page content is analyzed locally to show organization controls. It is not uploaded merely because a user visits a page.
Local and cloud storage
The library is stored locally in Chrome extension storage.
Cloud synchronization is optional. When a user signs in, saved library data is transmitted securely over HTTPS to the Bandcamp DJ Organizer Supabase project so the same library can be restored on other browsers and computers.
Supabase provides authentication and database hosting. Google provides the optional Google sign-in flow. Data is shared with these providers only as needed to provide authentication and cloud synchronization.
How data is used
- Detect and identify tracks and releases on Bandcamp.
- Save and display the user's folders, badges, preferences, and library.
- Synchronize the user's library between signed-in devices.
- Maintain authentication and protect each user's cloud library.
Data is not sold, used for advertising, or shared with data brokers. No human reads a user's library except when explicitly authorized by the user for support, when required for security, or when required by law.
Data control and retention
Users can use the extension without signing in, which keeps their library local to that browser. Users can remove tracks, folders, and badges from within the extension and can sign out at any time.
Cloud-account and cloud-data deletion requests can be submitted through the support contact listed on the extension's Chrome Web Store page.
Security
Cloud data is transmitted over HTTPS. Supabase Row Level Security restricts each cloud library to its authenticated owner.
Limited Use disclosure
The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

This policy may be updated as the extension changes. The latest version will include its effective date.
